Freedom House Restructured

ARVAC’s Freedom House has recently been restructured and is ready to help those struggling with addiction.

ARVAC is a parent company to Freedom House, which itself has helped over 14,000 clients over the course of 39 years. ARVAC’s Freedom House is a 501c3, non-profit Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center able to serve the community through state and federal grants, subcontracts through other agencies, and generous donations.

Overcoming adversity is nothing new to the ARVAC Inc. team. Executive Director Stephanie Ellis has commitment to move forward while restructuring the operations of the Agency and its programs to better serve the community and people.

Ellis’s strategies have both modernized ARVAC’s ability to deliver services, while also making the organization more efficient.

ARVAC holds itself to the highest standards of state compliance to maintain eligibility for these funds, a quality mission that it proudly maintains. With the threat of losing funding Ellis, with unwavering perseverance and sacrifice, was able to secure partnerships to ensure that ARVAC’s Freedom House will continue to provide services for those in need in the community.

Ellis states that, “I believe in ARVAC and am led by our Mission; I view my employees and the clients we serve as family, so failure is not an option.”

Freedom House offers programs and services with a holistic approach to heal mind, body and spirit. These services include observational detoxification, residential, and outpatient treatment, and a transitional living program. With a staff of regional alcohol and drug detoxification specialists, and bilingual counselors, as well as community outreach personnel.

Ellis asserts that “our number one priority in community action is to ensure that the needs of the community are met. When you keep the person served as the priority, everything falls into place.”

For more information, please call Freedom House at (479) 968-7086 or the ARVAC headquarters at (479) 229-4861 or visit www.arvacinc.org.

Reaching a goal of providing those in need of treatment with the best service possible would not be imaginable without the support of the community. If you would like to donate to ARVAC to ensure that we can continue to help those in need, please do so at any Simmons Bank or mail checks or money orders to P.O. Box 808 Dardanelle.
