Harrold Robinson Day
Harrold Robinson shakes hands with Booneville Mayor Jerry Wilkins as the mayor presents him with a proclamation naming last Monday as Harrold Robinson Day in Booneville. Robinson is a Vietnam Veteran who worked as an auto parts salesman in Booneville before subbing and then being hired full time by the United States Postal Service in 1992. Robinson retired from the Post Office on Monday, Sept. 30. Robinson has also worked to improve downtown Booneville by buying and renovating several office buildings and he has also been instrumental in projects at the First United Methodist Church, where he is a member. Robinson plans to hunt, fish, continue working on businesses and spend time with his grandchildren and wife, LeeAnn.
