Baby, Parents Found In Yell County

A two-month old baby girl Logan County Sheriff’s Office personnel listed as a missing endangered juvenile has been found unharmed according to Logan County Sheriff Steve Smith.

Smith said the baby, Kenzie King, along with her biological parents, Lakyn Downs, 17, and Eric King, 20, were found Monday in Yell County. Smith said law enforcement had received a tip alerting them to the whereabouts of the three.

Smith’s office had announced a search for the baby through a Facebook post Friday afternoon. The child had been entered into the the National Crime Information Center as an endangered juvenile, the post stated.

An emergency order was also issued to remove the child from the custody of the parents, the Facebook post also stated.
