Getting ready. Connie Watson puts out the chalkboard outside 2nd Street Market Wednesday shortly before a ribbon cutting at the store which features items from 16 vendors.

For the third straight week the Booneville Development Corporation/South Logan County Chamber of Commerce broke out the “big scissors.”

On Wednesday it was for a ribbon cutting at 2nd Street Market where 16 vendors offer a variety of items that range from home decor, gifts, jewelry, clothing, even home made bath and body products, and more.

Located at the former home of Limelight, the store is owned by Carrie Ray. It is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
