Clyde E. Eye

Clyde E. Eye, 56, of East Berlin, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at his home.

He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Richie) Eye, his wife of 38 years. He was born March 14, 1957, in Shady Springs, W.V., the son of James Ridpath and Audrey Jean (Parell) Eye.

He loved to hunt and fish, ride four wheelers, water skiing, camping and cookouts, spending time with his grandchildren and watching NASCAR racing.

He was predeceased by a brother Wayne Eye and a grandson Richard Yates

Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

In addition to his wife, Pat, and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Regenia M. Yates and her husband, Steven, of East Berlin, and Christie N. Eye and her fiancee, Allen Neaves, of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jacob, Brittany, Alivia, and Landon Yates, all of East Berlin, and Allen Neaves of North Carolina; a sister, Janet Hart and her husband Carl of West Virginia, a brother Danny Eye of West Virginia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sam and his wife, Virginia Hamilton, of Maryland; mother-in-law, Catherine Richie of Maryland; and aunt Marie Cicone of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.
