David Keath Means

David Keath Means, 66, of Booneville, passed away Feb. 12, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born June 7, 1947 to John and Lydia Jones Means.

He was a retired oil field worker and a member of the Ione Baptist Church. He was a member of the Booneville Riding Club. He was a charter member of the ABATE motorcycle club and a member of the Vietnam Veterans motorcycle club. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War where he received five Bronze Stars.

He is preceded in death by his parents Keith and Lydia Means.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at Roberts Memorial Chapel with burial following at Carolan Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville.

He is survived by his wife Ann of the home; daughter, Laura Means and Clay of Bridge Creek, Okla.; two sons, Charles Means and wife Jennifer and Brad Goff, all of Booneville; three granddaughters, Anna and Lydia Bowden of Bridge Creek, Okla. and Ever Lee Means of Booneville; two grandsons, Mylo Means and Jonathan Goff, both of Booneville; one sister, Carol Verner of Van Buren; two nieces, Jessi Lasiter and Kelli Verner, both of Van Buren; and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Means, Brad Goff, Clay Phillips, Denver Williams, Steve Kennedy and Aaron Littlefield. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Lawson, Ron Harris, Charlie Miesner and Bud Means.

The family will visit with friends from 2-4 Sunday at the funeral home.
