Donnie L. Stinnett

Donnie L. Stinnett, 53, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 in Paris. He was born July 28, 1960 in Ozark, to Donald L. Stinnett and Erma Lee (Grimes) Stinnett.

He was owner and operator of Stinnett’s Transmission Service in Paris and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Paris.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Mask) Stinnett and his parents.

A funeral service was held Thursday, Dec. 19, at First Free Will Baptist Church in Paris, with burial at Prairie View Cemetery in Prairie View, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his companion, Nancy; three sons, Jeremy Stinnett, Daniel Stinnett and wife Trisha, and David Stinnett and wife Christle, all of Paris; his mother-in-law, Ida Ruth Bryant and husband Fred of Prairie View; one sister, Carolyn Kuykendall and husband Terry of Branch; three brothers, Larry Stinnett and wife Freda of Paris, Rick Stinnett and wife Vickie of Van Buren, and Kenny Stinnett and wife Linda of Paris; three half-brothers, Lanney King of Magazine, Stanley King of Magazine, and Jimmy King of Booneville; one step-sister, Joyce Friddle of Driggs; one step-brother, Robbie Plemmons of Driggs; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Roy Mitchell III, Brian Rogers, Michael Wayne Stinnett, Jimmy Lutrell, Mitchell Ray Stinnett, Bobby Kuykendall, Chris Stinnett, and Stanley King. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren, Preston, Mason, Evan, Brandon, Easton, Leeland, and Alana.
