Dwain D. Kessler

Dwain D. Kessler, 63, of Booneville, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014 in Booneville. He was born on Aug. 22, 1950 in Pittsburg, Kan.

He was a retired poultry farmer, served as a chef for over 15 years and was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved to travel with his wife, enjoyed fishing and was a member of First Christian Church in Paris.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen D. and Wilma Fay (Greder) Kessler; two brothers, Claude “Sonny” Kessler and Donald D. Kessler; and a step-son John Strahan.

A funeral service was held Monday, May 5, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial at Corley Cemetery in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Treva L. (Anderson) Kessler; a sister, Edythe Cuce of Bossier City, La.; a grandson, Cody Strahan of Subiaco; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Cuce, Joseph Cuce, Jason Cuce, Phillip Robertson, Quinton Robertson and Burl Ford.
