Eddie Dean Franklin

Eddie Dean Franklin, 62, of Booneville, passed from this life Oct. 26, 2013 in Booneville. He was born June 14, 1951 in the Tate Community near Booneville.

He was retired from the oil field and was a member of the Lakeview Pentecostal Church near Booneville. He enjoyed coon hunting, camping, fishing, and going to gospel music singings.

He is preceded in death by his son, John Wesley Canada; granddaughter, Paige Nicole Franklin; father, Jessie C. Franklin; and his Pops, Bill Johnson.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 at the Lakeview Pentecostal Church near Booneville with burial in Carolan cemetery near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne of the home; two daughters, Tracy Frickenschmidt and husband, Paul and Elizabeth Franklin of Booneville; five sons, Robert Dean Franklin and wife Dalea of Booneville, J.W. Franklin and wife Misty of Booneville, Brandon Dewitt Franklin and wife Tesa of Magazine, Rodney Canada of Booneville, and Brian Canada of Booneville; mother, Rosetta Johnson of Booneville, two sisters, Loretta Williams of Dutch Creek and Shirley Hester of Booneville; five brothers, Joe Lee Franklin, Jessie Doyle Franklin, James Franklin, Clyde Franklin, and Carol Franklin, all of Booneville; 25 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The pallbearers will be Bud Wilkinson, Danny Rhode, Randall Preston, Woodrow Weaver, Jobe Adair and Jeff Wilkinson. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m, Tuesday at the Lakeview Pentecostal Church near Booneville.
