Ellen Elizabeth (Wigley) McEntire, 81, of Booneville, died June, 15, 2014. She was born Aug. 23, 1932 in Waldron.

She was of the Baptist faith. She worked at the Ace Comb plant, ran her own cafe — Broadway Cafe — owned and operated the McEntire Trading Post which was an antique store and the rock store.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Monroe and Rosie (Scarbrough) Lee Wigley; her husband of 50 years, D.W. McEntire; one son, James Wigley; one sister, Hazel Scott; and one brother, William Gilbert Wigley.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Booneville Funeral Service Chapel with burial at Carolan Cemetery under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.

Survivors are one daughter, Debra Young and husband Jack, and Marcia Walker, same as daughter, all of Booneville; three sons, Marty McEntire, Monty McEntire and James A. McEntire ,all of Booneville; and one grandchild, Dakota T. McEntire and Victoria Hardy, loved as a grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Christopher Wigley, Joseph Allen Wigley, Charlie R. Scott, Matthew K. Scott, Kenneth E. Scott, Sr., Kenneth E. Scott, Jr. and Dewayne Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Scott, John Cummings and Mike Hardy.
