Fredddie Ray Raggio

Freddie Ray Raggio, 76, of Booneville, passed from this life on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Booneville. He was born May 16, 1938 in Logan County, to William and Eulah Ann (Hicks) Raggio.

He was the former owner and operator of Raggios Excavating in Booneville. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church near Booneville. He enjoyed playing music, fishing, camping and carpentry.

She is preceded in death by parents; sisters, Helen Bomer, Bernice Lipsmeyer, and Betty Stanfill; and brothers, Jodie Raggio, Bill Raggio and Mickey Raggio.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, June 2, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye of the home; one daughter, Janice Burrus and husband Gary of Fort Smith; two sons, Billy Raggio and wife Tina of Charleston and Bobby Raggio and wife Paulette of Booneville; three sisters, Virginia Helton of Booneville, Joyce Hitchcock of Longview, Texas, and Marie Wilson of Cheyenne, Wyo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The pallbearers will be Zach Raggio, Robby Raggio, Anthony Flores, Neal Burgess, Bill Raggio and Thomas Dean Lipsmeyer.

The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday evening at Roberts Funeral Home.
