Freddie Ray Lynch

Freddie Ray “Bear” Lynch, 60, of Booneville, passed from this life Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born Feb. 19, 1954 in Booneville.

He was a retired tool and die supervisor at Whirlpool in Fort Smith. He was a former member of the Arkansas Army National Guard and the Parkview Baptist Church in Booneville and the Booneville Lion’s Club where he served as the First Vice District Governor 7I and was the former President of the Booneville Lion’s Club.

He enjoyed going to car shows, fishing, drag racing, golf, but most of all spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Louetta Hamilton; stepfather, Willie Hamilton; and stepmother, Joyce Lynch.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, at the Parkview Baptist Church in Bonneville with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon of the home; one daughter, Ashlie Green and husband Adam of Charleston; one son, Wesley Keith Lynch of Booneville; brothers, Jacky Lynch and wife Carla of Poteau, Okla., Walter Hamilton and wife Terrie of Charleston, Sammy Hamilton and wife Ginny of Randallstown, Md., Danny Hamilton and wife Susan of Magazine, Wendel Lynch and wife Frankie of Dardanelle, David Lynch and wife Penny of Prescott, and Shawn Lynch and wife Michelle of Danville; sisters, Loretta Sheppard and husband Mike of Booneville, Angie Sims and husband Barry of Dardanelle, Tina Lynch of Russellville, and Lacy Lynch of Fayetteville; father, Zack Lynch of Atkins; grandchildren, Megan and Ian Lynch, Michael, Jacob, Allison, and Audrey Green.

The pallbearers will be Jacky Lynch, Walter Hamilton, Sammy Hamilton, Danny Hamilton, Wendel Lynch, David Lynch, Shawn Lynch. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Lion’s Club.

The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday evening at Roberts Funeral Home.
