Herbert Hairl Catlett

Herbert Hairl Catlett, 74, of Waldron, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born April 29, 1940 in Lick Creek community to the late Dee Edward and Florence Alma Taylor Catlett.

He was a retired successful business man, and was co- founder of Catlett Brothers Feed Mill in Waldron and Booneville. He was a member of the Ascension Life Christian Fellowship.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, J.D. Catlett, Glendell Catlett, and infant brother Bentley Catlett.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Ascension Life Christian Fellowship in Waveland,under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville. Visitation will be 12 to 2 p.m. before service.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Wilma Campbell Catlett; sons and daughters-in-law, Bradley and Carla Catlett of Booneville and Herbert and Debbie Catlett of Waldron; sisters, Verzene Bell of Havana, Ina Gail and Delbert Hunt of Danville; brothers Otho and Effie Catlett of Sherwood, Dean and Sharon Catlett of Eureka, Calif.; grandchildren Jordan Catlett of Batesville, and Heather and Tyler Catlett of Booneville; and several nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers include Wayne Bell, Ronald Bell, Steven Hunt, Timothy Hunt, Bryan Catlett, John Catlett, John Sledge, Thomas Haney, Charlie Widmer and David Catlett.
