Ida Mae Arnett

Ida Mae Arnett, 66, of Booneville, passed from this life on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 in Booneville. She was born March 2, 1947 in Corbin, Kan., to Delbert Carter and Clara Lee (Shipley) Arnett.

She was waitress, cook, and loving mother, proud grandmother and housewife. She enjoyed watching movies, her animals, playing bingo, cards and dominoes.

She is preceded in death by her companion, Sanford Corley; infant son Richard Heflin; her parents; and one brother, Lloyd Arnett.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery near the Chismville Community near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. There will be no graveside services.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Fleming and husband James, and Angela Frith and husband Oliver, all of Booneville; sisters, Doris Blodgett of Ratcliff, Helen Walker of Malvern, Betty Heflin of Pine Bluff, and Carolyn Lewis of Pine Bluff; brothers, Russell Arnett of Atica, Kan. and Louis Arnett Of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Caleb and Emily; and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Jones Steve Gattis, Jim Doughty and Alvin Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Melton and James Arnett.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Roberts Funeral Home.
