Jimmy Schneider Napier

Jimmy Schneider Napier, 86, of Van Buren, formerly of Booneville, passed from this life on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 in Van Buren. She was born Sept. 30, 1927 in Paris to Ray and Zelma Mae (Appleton) Wehunt.

She was a housewife and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Booneville and the VFW women’s auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Napier and Raymond Schneider; a sister, Louise Lewis; and her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat Smith and husband Ron of Van Buren; two sons, Bob Schneider and wife Darlene of Iowa and David Schneider and wife Nancy of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The pallbearers will be Ray Schneider, Jim Schneider, Mike Smith, Chris Smith, Heath Lundsford and Ronnie Ross. The honorary pallbearers will be Justin Smith and Alex Gregory.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 5401 Ellsworth, P.O. Box 17000, Fort Smith, Ark. 72917.
