JoAnn L. Horner

JoAnn L. Horner, 73, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born Feb. 17, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was a retired home health nurse. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, being out in nature and visiting lighthouses.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Earl Horner Sr.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, with burial in Antioch Cemetery near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. There will be no graveside service.

She is survived by two daughters, Rijoa Garcia of Oklahoma and Margie Herrera of Booneville; three sons, Richard Eric Horner of Little Rock, John Peak of Florida and Tony Peak of Tennessee; mother, Margaret Lindsey of Ohio; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The pallbearers were Richard Horner, Tony Peak, Steve Richards, David Herrera, Duane Garcia, and Mitch Ford.
