Kimberlie Sue Madera-Preston

Kimberlie Sue Madera Preston, 45, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Booneville. She was born Aug. 12, 1968 in Knob Noster, Mo.

She was a homemaker and loved volunteering at the Humane Society.

Kimberlie Sue Preston had a vast heart with so much love for her family, friends, and critters. Kimberlie was constantly rescuing animals as well as volunteering her time to help needy families especially around Christmas time. Kimberlie loved working in her flowers and loved her family very, very much. This past early Saturday morning our dear beautiful wondrous Kimberlie went to sleep and for some reason transitioned to be with our Lord, leaving our hearts so very sad. The world is a darker, emptier place without her light. Today we are left trying to wrap our collective minds around the fact that this beautiful soul is no longer with us we were so blessed with our time Kimberlie and our loss is indeed Heaven’s gain. We will always miss our angel who walked among us on this earth.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, March 19, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Don Preston of the home; two daughters, Kayla Madera and Autumn Preston both of Booneville; three sons, Joshua Madera of Abbott, Christopher Madera of Booneville and Justin Preston of Van Buren; mother, Sue Baumann of Cherokee Village; one brother, Chris Hatman of Ferrum, Va.; one half-brother; Kelly Hatman of Pineville; paternal grandmother, Mary Baumann of Melbourne; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and other relatives and many friends.
