Rita Walker, 72 of Paint Rock passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 in Paint Rock. She was born on July 31, 1941 in Sanger, Calif. She was the owner and operator of Rita’s Country Inn in Booneville and Rita’s Country Kitchen in Paint Rock.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Minnie (Hamrick) Holland; brothers, Edward Holland, O.J. Holland, Truman Holland, Noble Holland, Floyd Holland and Delbert Holland; and sisters, Willie Etta Skiles and Odell Day.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 11, at Paint Rock Cemetery near Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
She is survived by her sons, James Paul Mikles Jr. of Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Eric Mikles of Magazine; sister, Odelia Ritchey of Reedley, Calif.; brother, Carl Holland of Sanger, Calif.; grandchildren, Levi Mikles, LaTosha Mikles, Jessica Hess, Ella Comeaux, Richard Green and Waylon Green; and great-grandchildren, Noah Valdez, Allie Green and Bella Green.
Pallbearers will be David Hamm, John Friemel, Tony Hughes, Casey Cotton, Brian Morris and Jason Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Mikles and Haden Hise.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 10, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
