Willa Dean Borum

Willa Dean Borum, 76 of Booneville, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was retired from the Logan County Judge’s Office and was a member of Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Aaron Borum; her mother and father, Mary and Willie Wingfield; four brothers, A.L., J.C., Ray and Granville Wingfield; and two sisters, Ovalene Wingfield and Virginia Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, at Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church in Booneville with burial at Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Greenwood, where the family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

She is survived by one daughter, Paula Roberts and husband, Buddy of Plainview; one son, Wayne Borum and wife, Donna of Booneville; one brother, Earl Wingfield of Roseville, AR; one sister, Earlene Barham of Booneville; three grandchildren, Cherie Heisler, John Fleming and Breanna Borum; and three great-grandchildren, Tristan Heisler, Abby Heisler and Silas Fleming.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wilkins, Wayne Crawley, Edgar Holt, Nick Brink, Shane Thomas, Billy Don Crawley, Gus Young and Ray Gake.
