<p><strong>Trike-A-Thon</strong></p><p>On May 6 the children of Joyful Days Daycare conducted their annual St. Judes trike-a-thon. The 14 trike riders, staff and nine volunteers were escorted by the Booneville Police Department to the Assembly of God Church where they enjoyed the morning riding trikes to raise money for kids battling cancer and other diseases. Joyful Days raised $1,519.87 for St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital while teaching valuable riding safety tips to the children. Joyful Days would like to thank Simple Simons, Pizza Italia, Kelli Eaves, Ben Villarreal, the Arkansas Wildlife Officers Association as well as all the family, friends and sponsors donating to the cause.</p>

<p><strong>Cub Scouting</strong></p><p>Cub Scout Wolf Pack 1009 of Magazine and Booneville area visited the Booneville Fire station recently to learn about fire safety and how the firemen use the fire trucks. They also had a great time playing on the fire trucks and asking Chief Eric Rogers and Tyler Rogers a lot of interesting questions. A big Thank You to Chief Eric and Tyler Rogers for helping the boys earn one of their badges. Cubs are Keith Jedrysek, Michael Stanley, Levi Shelton, Ayden Mosley, and Caleb Richardson.</p>
