<p><strong>Retirement Reception. </strong>A retirement reception for Sandra Schlinker was held Friday at the Jeral Hampton Meeting Place in Booneville. Schlinker is retiring after 24 years at the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service on March 31. Schlinker was presented with a proclamation from Booneville Mayor Jerry Wilkins naming Friday Sandra Schlinker Day in Booneville, (above) a plaque from the Extension Service by staff chair Bob Harper, and a charm bracelet from fellow employees which signified many aspects of her work. Attending the reception were husband George, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Emily, grandchildren, Hunter, Wyatt and Clare; Extension Service co-workers past and present; 4-Hers, Extension Homemaker Club members; and other family and friends.</p>

A retirement reception for Sandra Schlinker was held Friday at the Jeral Hampton Meeting Place in Booneville.

<p><strong>Cub Scout Pack 109 Project. </strong>These boys used their imagination and created robot dinosaurs out of recycled materials. This project helped earn their Council Fire badge. Their dinosaurs are on display at the Khilling Printing shop in Magazine until April 1. The top picture is Levi, Keith and Luke. Below are Michael, Caleb and Landon.</p>

<p><strong>Farm Bureau Awards</strong></p><p>The Arkansas Farm Bureau Northwest District Sales Manager, Dennis Johnston, would like to congratulate the North Logan/South Logan County Farm Bureau for their 2015 achievements. They were awarded the Northwest District’s #1 Life Agency in Life Volume and the #1 Agency in Life Policies Per Agent. At the Statewide Conference, they were awarded the Division 1 Agency of the Year. Britt Bauer (left) was named the Northwest District Rookie Agent of the Year, the Arkansas Rookie Agent of the Year and has earned his spot on the Southern Farm Bureau Life Century Club. Mary Smith (right) won an award for Master Producer. Agency Manager, Keith Eichenberger, wants to thank this entire team for their efforts including their Member Services Representatives, Samantha Heavin, Sheila Young and Tanya White.</p>
