<p><strong>Presidential Appreciation</strong></p><p>Booneville Kiwanis Club President-Elect Allen Ray (right) presents outgoing President Trent Goff an appreciation plaque for serving the club as President for the 2014-2015 year. The Kiwanis Club focuses on the needs of children in South Logan County. <p><strong>Haller Attends Committee Meeting</strong></p><p>Joe Haller of Magazine was among the 73 Farm Bureau leaders participating in the State Resolutions Committee meeting Nov. 4-5 at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock. The committee refined and consolidated policy proposals into a set of formal recommendations to be considered by voting delegates during the business session of the Arkansas Farm Bureau State Convention, Dec. 2-4 at the Marriott Hotel in Little Rock. Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 190,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.</p>
