<p><strong>Child Abuse Prevention Awareness. </strong>Child Abuse Prevention Awareness was observed during the month of April. CASA of the Tri-Peaks held public awareness events including proclamation signings in the 15th Judicial District in the four counties it serves – Logan, Scott, Yell and Conway counties. Above Judge Terry Sullivan, Mayor Jerry Wilkins, County Judge Ray Gack, attorneys, DHS Department of Child and Family Services staff members, and CASA staff members and advocates were on hand for a proclamation signing held at the South Logan County Courthouse on April 19.</p>

<p><strong>8 Decades</strong></p><p>Friends and relatives are invited to a party to celebrate Bill Wagoner’s 80th birthday to be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at the First United Methodist Church, 355 North Broadway in Booneville. The party will be hosted by his wife and children. Bill has requested no gifts.</p>
