<p><strong>New Officers</strong></p><p>The South Logan County Riders elected officers for 2014 in a meeting on Jan. 23. Officers are (back, from left) Raymond Turner, president; and Tony Harris, vice president. (Front) Becky Herman, secretary; Kay Mathews, treasurer; and Jennifer Boersma, reporter. Board members also include Scott Wells, Bill Carpenter, Jim Tanner, Lee Posey and Ron Harris. Activities the club plans for the year include play days, trail rides, cowboy church, music, AOK barrel racing, rodeos, parades, a queen contest and more. A negative coggins is required on each animal for events. The next club meeting is Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Carpenter’s arena.</p>

The contribution marks the 12th straight year the bank has made a significant contribution. To date the bank has donated over $115,000 to the club.
