<p><strong>Long Shots. </strong>Three of the Logan County Long Shots competed in the State PPP/PTO competition over their spring break with Tiangang Huang placing second overall winning the silver medal and Reese Nietert placing seventh. Natosha Hammonds competed in the men’s and women’s international one handed standing air pistol, winning the bronze for the overall best senior shooter.</p>

<p><strong>Quarter Of A Century</strong></p><p>Pam Beeler (right) was recognized for being with Walmart for 25 years during a surprise party Monday morning. Beeler’s 25th anniversary will actually be on Thursday, according to store manager Galen Dahler (left) but she will be representing the store at the annual stockholder’s convention in Fayetteville on Thursday so the celebration and presentation of her 25-year badge and other gifts, including the cake above, was held early.</p>
