<p><strong>Flag Day Display. </strong>First United Methodist Church officials erected a flag display of 20 flags at the intersection of Broadway and Fourth Streets last Tuesday, Flag Day. The church puts up the display for Flag Day, Memorial Day and July Fourth.</p>

First United Methodist Church officials erected a flag display of 20 flags at the intersection of Broadway and Fourth Streets last Tuesday, Flag Day.

<p><strong>Pointing it out.</strong> Logan County Sheriff Boyd Hicks highlights an aspect of the jail, proposed to be built with funds generated from a one percent sales and use tax before county voters, during a public meeting in Booneville Thursday. The sales tax election is set for July 12.</p>
