<p><strong>Close Call</strong></p><p>A Driggs Fire Department fireman applies water to the charred remains of a building outside a home outside of Magazine Thursday. The Magazine Fire Department responded to two calls within minutes. Above a renter had apparently burned trash earlier in the day, thought the fire was out and left the home. Passers-by saw the fire, started battling it with a garden hose and called 911. The fire spread to a shed and into a field where it burned several hay bales. The fire also spread to the home, melting siding and charring the west side of the home. The Magazine, Magazine Rural, Driggs and Blue Mountain fire departments responded to the fire.</p>
