<p><strong>Pocahontas</strong></p><p>The Booneville High School Drama and Choral departments staged a production of Pocahontas last week with public performance held at the BHS Auditorium on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. The cast also took the stage for private performances for the BJHS, BHS and BES student bodies. Above Chief Powhatan (James Ray) has ordered the execution of Captain John Smith (Hayden Woodhull) by Thundercloud (JD Sanders) despite Smith having returned Pocahontas (Karly Reid) after a ransom demand had been made.
