<p><strong>Road Work. </strong>Workers prepare asphalt material for a roller on Grant Street Wednesday. Blackstone Construction started a project in which is one of 11 streets targeted for road work through a grant the city received from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. The streets in Booneville and four more in Magazine, where work began on May 2, were part of a $422,656.50 contract awarded to Blackstone. Money from the project is derived from a statewide half percent sales tax approved by state voters in 2012.</p>
