<p><strong>An Upside Down Christmas</strong></p><p>Donya Davenport always wanted an upside down Christmas tree and when she started remodeling her new attorney’s office on Fourth Street in Booneville, her husband, Brian, gave up trying to convince her otherwise and hung the tree from the ceiling. Decorations on the tree are standard decorations but, obviously, hang upside down. Under the tree top is a collection of dated Christmas teddy bears.</p>

<p><strong>Tree Decorating Contest Winners</strong></p><p>The winners of the annual Booneville Garden Club’s City Hall Christmas Tree decorating contest were announced last week. Zarlingo Family Dentistry’s “out of this world” spaceship and aliens tree won first place; the Logan County Sheriff’s Office’s Frozen-themed tree was second; and a traditional display by the Order of the Eastern Star placed third.
