Reid takes office as one of Booneville’s two new city councilmen, and is also a lieutenant with the Booneville Police Department. A complete story on the swearing-in — four new county office holders, three new JPs and others were also sworn in by Northern District Judge David Rush — will run in the Jan. 7 edition of the Democrat.</p>
