<p><strong>Lady Bearcat Golfer Finishes Runner-up</strong></p><p>Junior Lady Bearcat Golfer Darby Beason finished runner-up at the Arkansas PGA Junior State Tournament in Maumelle on Aug. 7. Beason had competed in the PGA Junior Western Region tournaments held at Ben Geren Golf Course, Fianna Hills Country Club, Eagle Crest Country Club and First Tee of Fort Smith. During tournament play Beason posted three firsts and two second place finishes in the 16-18 age division earning her player of the year for the West Region. The top three girls from each of eight regions across Arkansas qualified to compete at the State Overall at Maumelle Country Club where Beason finished second.</p>
