<p><strong>Getting Ready For Regional</strong></p><p>City of Booneville and Booneville School District employees installed a new scoreboard on the softball field at the Billy Kiersey Baseball/Softball Complex last week. Booneville is hosting the Class 3A Region 1 tournament starting Friday. Hug Buick GMC in Charleston purchased a new board for both the softball and baseball fields for the complex.</p>

<p><strong>Belt Holders</strong></p><p>The Booneville Shodown MMA facility is the home training site for four belt holders. Tyler Jones, 20, (from left) is a two time champion. He holds the 170 pound belt for XFI of Fort Smith and the 170 pound belt from Idabel, Okla., for elite combat. He is the son of Tammie Beggs. Chance Farley, 31, a trainer at Shodown holds the 185 pound belt for XFI in Fort Smith. Dustin Keeter, 38, is a trainer as well and holds a belt in the 205 pound division. William Walker (not pictured) is also a three time champion for 170 pound belts for hit em hard and a 155 pound beld for XFI.</p>
