<p><strong>All Star</strong></p><p>Brent Loyd of Magazine put a ball in play on this swing at Bear Stadium on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway during the Arkansas High School Coaches Association’s All Star baseball game. Loyd singled home a run in the double header opener, an 8-4 loss by the West and he drew a walk during a 9-1 West win in the nightcap. For the day he was 1-for-3 with a base on balls.</p>

<p><strong>All Star Cheerleader</strong></p><p>Kandace Rodatz (above) was chosen as an all star cheerleader and cheered for the West basketball and football teams Thursday night at the Farris Center, which was a lot drier than a soggy Estes Stadium on Friday night on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Friday’s football game, which was to feature Bonneville’s Bryson May was moved to a 6 p.m. kickoff, delayed until almost 8, and ultimately canceled.</p>

Bryson May (21) will represent Conference 3A-4 in the 60th annual Arkansas High School Coaches Association All Star football game Friday night at Estes Stadium at the University of Central Arkansas. May scored a school record 29 touchdowns in 2013 as a fullback and quarterback and an additional TD defensively for a school record 30 in one season and 75 in a career.
