This week it was a fourth down sack with 1:05 to go to nail down the win. A play before Justin Brittain and friends ran down Carson Cannon, Cannon had hit Ty Cole for a first down but Lewis Shores was held on the play and the play came back.

Booneville (5-2) lost a touchdown to a penalty in the first half but did take a 6-0 lead on a 5-yard Caleb Draper run 17 seconds before halftime.

Grant Rodatz got loose for 51 yards and a touchdown three plays into the second half and it was 12-0. Rodatz ran 15 times for 117 yards on the night.

Mena cut it to 12-8 on a Cannon to Justin Dean swing pass that went for 25 yards, one play after a third down completion to Cole moved the chains.
