Stiff arm. Sam Cooney, one of the three Booneville quarterbacks Friday night, stiff arms Dalton Haynes in the second half Friday. Cooney ran for 54 yards in the win over Dover.

Matt Berry scored touchdowns on three straight possession for the Booneville as the Bearcats built a 35-0 halftime lead against Dover and coasted to the same final on senior night at Bearcat Stadium.

Berry’s scoring runs covered 18, 17 and 38 yards and were preceded by a 31-yard touchdown run by quarterback Cody Harrel and Harrel hitting Josh Smith for 20 yards and a touchdown on the final play of the half.

Berry had three other carries on the night and finished with 101 yards for the Bearcats (8-0, 5-0 Conference 4A-4).

Dover (0-8, 0-5) fumbled on the Bearcat 1 on their only second half possession and the Bearcats were inside the Pirate 5 before Sam Cooney, the third quarterback of the night, took a knee twice to end it. Cooney ran nine times for 54 yards.

Even with the victory formation plays and the clock running the Bearcats finished the night with 401 rushing yards.
