Harrel also may not start tonight but is expected to play.

Mena last won a game in the series at home in 1996.

Talor Tatterson returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown in the season opener against Mena in a game in Van Buren in 2009. Anthony Napier, Kyle Arnold, Jeremy McDonald and Zach Adair all had 200-yard games against Mena. Andy Napier returned two punts for touchdowns against Mena in 1985. The longest rush for the Bearcats is a 99-yard effort by Darrell Mason against Mena in 1953.

With Melbourne and Brookland now fielding football team, Booneville and Mena are no longer the only football playing schools in Arkansas, but they are the only two who will play one another in the regular season.
