Cody Cherry scored twice from the floor and was on his way to a 16-point night but the Rattlers were down 15-9 after a quarter.

James Lovell hit his second 3 in the final quarter and finished with six points.
Lady Rattlers 27
The Lady Rattlers were within striking distance at the half but a three-point third quarter ended any chance at a comeback.
Magazine got first quarter baskets from Adrianna Thomas, Kayla Canada and Brittney Bryan but trailed 11-6 through a quarter.
The deficit was still five, however, after Heather Bryan hit the first of her three 3s in the second quarter and both teams scored nine.
A free throw by Heather Bryan and a basket by Brittney Bryan in the third quarter was more than offset by Mountainburg and the Lady Dragons were up 27-18.
Heather hit twice more for 3-point range in the final quarter to finish with a team high 10.
A 24-point blitz by the Dragons in the first quarter made the outcome obvious as Magazine managed only a basket by Cody Cherry.
Jason Lovell and Austin Phillips both hit twice from beyond the arc in the second quarter but Mountainburg actually added a point to their lead and it was 41-18 at the half.
Lucas Young and Lovell, who led the way with 11 for the Rattlers, both scored four third quarter points and the deficit continued to grow, to 60-28.
